A motion to fund 2 new basketball net installations in the tennis courts at a cost of up to $7650 will be voted on at our next LDB PAC virtual meeting. Virtual meeting link: here (Meeting starts with open floor at 6:30 p.m. with regular meeting starting at 7:00 p.m.)
Due to the popularity of the basketball game bump amongst our students this year the LDB PAC looked into adding additional basketball nets. After contacting the city about the potential of placing basketball nets in the tennis courts (since there was already an asphalt surface) we received the okay from the city to proceed.
We have now received a quote from school district maintenance to install the basketball nets and will be bringing a motion forward to the parents/guardians who show up at the next PAC meeting to vote on. We hope to see you there!
