Kindergarten Registration
Be advised, the School District Kindergarten Registration Process varies from school to school and this information pertains specifically to École Lac des Bois.
For all Kindergarten Registrations, there is a two-step process to follow:
Step 1: Online Registration
Please complete the Online Student Registration Form located on the School District Website (www.sd57.bc.ca). Registration opens on February 1, 2022. The school can assist to access documents, if required.
Once the online form is completed, you will receive an email confirmation with the following attached documents:
- School Registration Form
- FOIPOP (Freedom of Information, Protection of Privacy) Form
- Indigenous Ancestry Form
- Kindergarten Health Day Circuit Registration Form
Step 2: School Registration
Print out/fill out all these forms and return them to the school of choice by February 8, 2022 at 3:00pm.
In addition to the completed documents, please also bring the following:
- Original Birth Certificate
- Care Card or BC Services Card
- Proof of Address (Driver’s license, utility bill, government document, bank document, etc.)
Submission of ALL completed documents confirms your application.
There are 60 French Immersion Kindergarten spaces available at École Lac des Bois.
If there are more applicants than spaces available, there will be a lottery completed on February 8, 2022 at 4:00pm.
All documents must be submitted to the school by February 8, 2022 at 3:00pm to be included in the lottery.
Applicants with a sibling already enrolled in our school will be given priority placement provided all documents have been submitted prior to the event.
Parents will be notified by the end of the day of the outcome via phone or email.”
